A Good Few Days
What a lovely few days. Firstly my birthday last Thursday, then my first Mothering Sunday as a mother :)
My birthday was spent in the finest fashion - Baby Bounce and Rhyme at the library (Ruby slept through it all but I had a jolly old time singing nursery rhymes!), then an extended coffee on the sea front with a new friend and her baby. This was later followed by more coffee and cakes with the NCT girls and their babies. The evening was full of visits from friends and family and cuddles with my gorgeous baby girl.
Mothering Sunday began with cards and a beautiful gift from Ruby (she must owe her daddy so much pocket money already!), continued with a visit to church with Nick's mum (where Ruby went to the front to collect some flowers for me) and finished with a lovely afternoon spent with my mother. Nick cooked us dinner (!) and it was fabulous. I felt thoroughly spoilt.
So a big thanks to Nick and Ruby for making me feel so special :)
