Attractions Bridal Studio

Wedding Etiquette from the Attractions Bridal Studio...
'The Bride
The bride traditionally selects the type of service. She oversees all the preparations, which include choosing the date and the church, who her attendants will be, her own dress and accessories, as well as those of the bridesmaids. She will choose the flowers, help with the guest list and seating arrangements and attend to the many small details which will contribute to her perfect day.

The Groom
The groom has to arrange transport for himself, the bride and the wedding party, as well as hiring the church and booking the honeymoon. However this will be done with the direction of his future wife. The groom chooses his best man and usher, of which it is traditional to have three, and is conventionally given responsibility for little else! However in reality, the bride and groom discuss most aspects of the day as it is, after all, 'their' wedding.'

Make of that what you will :D

By the way...my dress is in!

Fear

As I write I have to say I am very nervous. The man I am going to marry has both microphones from Sing Star on the PS2 (a bargain thanks to Wendyxx), he is singing loudly and enthusiastically, complete with dancing, big hair and his collar up.

...and sober.

Have we unleashed a lion?

Picnic

A very pleasant evening spent in the company of the newlyweds at Bishopstone Glen helped us pass the long weekend recently. A barbecue and the beach followed by a few glasses in the Ship Inn. We should make the more of having the beach on the doorstep really.

Last night's Eurovision Party at the Haney's was a complete success. I was Abba, Mary was Turkey and Nick made a fabulous Dana International. (Although I was most jealous that my bridesmaids dress looked better on him!) Little Harry pulled the winning team from the hat and now has the pleasure of hosting it next year!

All good fun although I do seem to be paying for it today!
