After several weeks of trying, Ruby has finally managed to roll over. It feels like such an amazing and significant moment for her. The first real milestone. Her face was one of pride, relief and amazement and she smiled her biggest smile at Nick and I as we cheered her success. It has been torment watching her try so hard, willing her to just flip out a leg or wrestle an arm from beneath her, but today she did it. A full, unassisted roll from her back to her front, lifting herself up in a triumphant press up at the end. I am so proud of her determination and tenacity. She did not give up, but kept trying and trying and trying until she managed it. That's my girl.
