Phantasmagoria
Well it has been quite an emotional week for me one way or another.
Exam results came in and a huge well done to the kids as they have achieved the highest SATs results the school has ever had! Well done kids!
Tour de France day at school also went very well. The kids all enjoyed their French lunch and cycle orienteering at the Rec was just so much fun! You feel lucky as a teacher sometimes, to be able to watch such happy faces enjoying themselves and older children taking younger ones by the hand and helping them along, is something that other people do not get to see in the course of their working day.
Wedding list organisation has occurred. What fun to go aroung a shop saying 'I will have one of those, three of those, a whole set of those beautiful but ridiculously expensive wine glasses, four of those...' Much excitement,
Invitations are being picked up today by the lovely matt, and I am bizarrely exctied by that. I think it is because we designed them ourselves that makes it so exciting. Thanks Matt and Mary!
Nick actually has a Saturday off which is most welcome. Although he is planning all sorts of jobs to do for the rest of the day, fixing the roof, cleaning the carpets, clearing the conservatory... So much for a relaxing weekend!
