Semi-Finals

It is with great cheer that I join you this fine afternoon having seen Arsenal safely through to the semi-finals of the Champions League last night in the company of lovely Nik, family and friends :)

So with that cheer in mind, I sit here with the fog of a nasty cold hopefully starting to lift and The King and I on the DVD player. Being ill is the perfect time for a bit of Rodgers and Hammerstein don't you think? The week has been relatively action packed so far. Out at a comedy night on Monday, the main act an American now based in Dagenham of all places! 'It is a far cry from Los Angeles' as he rightly put it! My cheering in the corner each time he mentioned it was ignored as 'being proud of Dagenham would have given me no material' Cheek! :) Tuesday was spent looking at now big people when they were then small people. How sweet Nik was! (cue the cries of 'What happened?') and last night out to watch the football. The days have been spent cleaning, shopping, sneezing and sniffling! Tomorrow sees me off on an adventure to the Rare Breeds Centre in Ashford and another pub quiz in the evening with our Matt and Mary! Such busy little bees are we!

I am too poorly to think of anything inspiring to say. My head too full of fog. If you can think of anything, do let me know :)
