Well they did it. After investing an entire Summer and a mini-project with my class, England finally regain the Ashes. I don't think there has been a wider smile on my face for many a while. Well done to them all. Let's hope it doesn't go the way of the Rugby and now we get rubbish. Passport anyone?

In other news, Anthony disappeared off into oblivion, but even being a friend of some ten years now, I was only to guess as to when which made me very sad. More news was received on baby/mummy Elson and an old colleague/friend made a new and very welcome re-appearance.

School continues as normal, with new buildings, new children and a very positive feeling amongst the pupils, staff and parents. It also brought about promotion for me, now Assistant Headteacher all official like ;)

Glad the sun is still trying. Effort is everything. Nothing happens all by itself.
