It has been a while...
...but it appears to be the 15th anniversary of THAT win at Anfield. I remember many things about that night. Praying in the bathroom with ten minutes to go, my father pacing the floor and the absolute and total elation when Mickey Thomas/John Burke put that goal away. Those who know me well enough will understand what I mean :)

Least said about MT's fish-out-of-water / body-popping goal celebrations the better, eh? I'd rather the solemn dignity of Shearer's rigid mono-arm salute to all that excessive riving around on the floor!
